Kevin Petersen, MFT, is a dedicated, caring, and understanding professional whose work with families in crisis is both crucial, and steadfast in the scope of families in crisis. Kevin’s beginnings in education involved getting a bachelors from USC, before his own personal journey and passions led him to seek deeper fulfillment by way of tending to the needs of both families and individuals in exigency. Kevin has earned a Masters degree in Marriage and family therapy, and has a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Counseling, and has been working as a therapist for Arapahoe Douglas Mental Health Network in Child and family Services since 2011. In that time, he has counseled hundreds of family members, and helped them find both a listening ear, and supportive measures to set their feet firmly on a healing path. His current practice is that of In Home Family Therapist for the Intensive Services team.
