Hello! My name is Karley and I am Colorado native, who has lived in various parts all over the state. With no intention of leaving this beautiful state, I am working hard to help Colorado communities address mental health needs.
After I graduated high school, I went to study at the University of Northern Colorado. I spent 5 years working and receiving my Bachelors of Science in Human Services. After taking a 3 year break, I went on to get my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and became a mental health therapist.
In therapy, I begin by listening and understanding who you are. We will work together to identify goals, current issues, lack of self care and boundaries to begin to understand how your life is being affected. Throughout the therapy process, you will gain an understanding of yourself, identify areas of change, and learn coping skills. My passion is to help others understand themselves and change what is not working for them.
Although I work with a wide range of clients, I am passionate about working with others who are experience anxiety, depression, and bipolar. These experiences can really affect the quality of our lives and I work hard to help those who are in need of making change.
When I am not working and training, I can be found spending time with my family. I identify as biracial, as I am half Spanish. Family is very important in my Hispanic culture. Additionally, I enjoy spoiling my German Shepherd, Milo, and taking him to explore the world.
